On Sunday October 10th, I watched the CBS Morning Show about Julian Lennon. It's inspiring to see his perspective and how he has coped and moved on.
The saddest part about the interview I saw (3:45) was how Julian has to now try to find his father's belongings through auctions and has to buy them back along with his childhood. I find that such a shame.
If I owned a piece of "Lennon Memorabilia" that was an actual "owned" item of John's and not just something that was…

Hey gang. I'm Scott. Newbie here. Some of you already know me and I'm sure I'll be getting around to screening the rest of you.
Until then, I'd like to share some pistachios I shared with BlancheNoE earlier today :)
Yes, the ones that haven't been cracked yet :P

The better to hear you with, my child...
I wish it was that easy.
This morning I was running late, and when I went outside to get in the car, there was this guy kinda hiding behind my dumpster. He ducked down and when I got in my car and backed out and then headed to leave, right before I turned out, he opened the dumpster and got inside and started opening trashbags... I got to watch because I was stuck trying to get out.. traffic was bad at that time... I hate running…

THE GIST
An aluminum plant's industrial waste has spilled through seven villages.
The mud is slightly radioactive and highly corrosive. It also contains toxic heavy metals.

My husband wants to buy me a new digital video camera and I really need one. My old analog Sony is finally, after 15 years, sputtering out. I always hate to retire old equipment because the saying,
" They don't make 'em like they used to. ", is so very true.
I need something that is very Mac friendly. I don't want to have to buy more software or hardware to use it. I want to be able to plug it in and import directly into imovie without having to convert and de-interlace before…

Tomorrow is the big day, for around 8 am I go pick up Mr.Kitten from the Vet and bring him back home to live with me.
Mr. Kitten was found last week crying outside, all skinny and scrawny, full of fleas and worms…. About 6 weeks old, gray tabby with white patches.
I have been thinking for a while about getting another cat, a companion for Dinah… I feel really bad when I have to leave for the weekend and she is home alone. She is still in her playful stage and I am really…

I need it. With a key code.
I had to get a new MacBook after I dumped a big glass of wine on my old trusty black MacBook. Then I bought this cool contraption that converts VHS to digital and straight onto the computer. I have boxes and boxes of precious VHS tapes and it would cost me a fortune to have someone else do it so I was very excited about this.
So it arrived, and I tore it open to find that it works only with Windows. So I went to the Mac Mall and had them install…

A wonderful vacation I took with my parents around 1974. They took me out of college
for a few weeks. The trip started in Nice, France. We went along the coast into Italy
and traveled all through Italy. We were with a group and a guide and stopped at many
historic locations including Pompei, The Coliseum and Vatican City in Rome including
the Sistine Chapel. Florence to see The David and the amazing museums. Milan, to
visit my brother and sister-in-law, (where I stopped…

Are you getting in all the best one can get
out of Life?
We sure didn't ask to come here
and we don't know when we'll leave,
don't wait for sunshine to rub itself
all over your face,
cuz when time comes
to ask for a recharge,
a recharge may be to late.

random moments of inspirations
1. its a rush that has a way of confusing you, its not a matter of if but when it chooses you, it takes your breath away when it takes a hold of you, you cant fight this it has a way of hypnotizing you, let it take you over this will make you sober, and when its done like a drug you'll only want more more more..............
2. we walk this earth like mere shadows, hollow from the inside out, it is in one moment when we find our reflection,…

(((((((Insert Picture of cute Dinah kitty playing with candy corn here))))))))))
Okay so I am a month early.
I have missed my Dinah, I had a baby sitter for her the past few weeks because I have had such bad luck in the past with kennels. I was only home for about a week last month, so she has been lacking in lots of love but at least she got to run around the house instead of being in a small cramped…

people can change if they want to.
its not impossible.
but some people don't want you to change. you become a better person and they want to hold you to the person that they did not like before, they don't want you to become more positive, they want you to stay negative.
they want to hate the good...
people that get upset because YOU have changed your life for the better are not the people you need to be hanging around. They are only going to bring…

Occasionally someone asks me about one of my old videos so I'm going to post the links here in batches. They are sitting at Live Video but I have them set to private there because I got tired of having to log in 3 times a day to rid the comment sections of porn-spam,..and yeah,I could set them to no comments allowed but that just rubs my scales the wrong way.…
