Okay so I am a month early.

I have missed my Dinah, I had a baby sitter for her the past few weeks because I have had such bad luck in the past with kennels. I was only home for about a week last month, so she has been lacking in lots of love but at least she got to run around the house instead of being in a small cramped cage, etc.

On top of being home now, I have contacted some type of illness and I am sick as heck. Congested, running nose when its not stuffy, head-ache, sinus-ache, sore throat, fever... i can't stop sneezing.

Achoo!

I am such a baby right now. I want my mom.

It sucks. I am finally home and now I am super sick. At least I get to be in my own bed for such misery.

The weather is great, its that fall weather - wear your hoodie sweatshirt and jeans but can still get away with flipflops. I made it out of bed this morning after being up all night blowing my nose after getting home late. I needed to pay some bills before noon seeing that the post office would be closed on monday.

Plus side. I am off for the holiday.

I just finished a class for CBRN, this one was more advanced course using algebra and geometry to map out areas that were hit by weapons and being able to plot these on overlays for the maps. Also did a lot of radiation stuff, but nothing anybody would really wanna discuss I don't think. My next school is in November when I go Air Assault and learn how to repel out of helicopters!


I am pretty stoked about that.

I got a bunch of Teas for my Keurig, and today seems like a perfect day to lay here and drink them with a touch of honey.

Soon if I don't start feeling better I am going to heat up some American Honey by Wild Turkey.

Syd, It was in the high 90's in NJ all this week as well, so I am thinking its a happy valley thing? My mom suggested I have some chicken noodle soup, I was too lazy to go get some so I ordered cheese pizza instead... she though that was silly.

I know this sounds sick, but sometimes I like being sick. It's the only guilt-free excuse I have to lay around, watch mind-candy TV, and eat whatever makes me feel good--as long as I'm not too sick. Indulge yourself, Lima, and let the healing waves of Oprah and Ellen wash over you. I hope you get well long before you have to go back so you can enjoy something besides tea and Wild Turkey on your break.

@Nature, Thanks, I did lay around and watch much... unfortunately I can't taste... although I think the chocolate was magical and for some reason out of everything it spoke to me. I was unable to do the wild turkey, but I might consider it tonight, having a hard time getting a good night sleep.

I am not due back til tuesday, but have to leave friday for weekend work, so I am hoping I am all cleared up by then. Just started some antibiotics, after being up and feverish all night figured that was next on my list. I just really hope I don't get dinah sick.
