Whatever floats your boat...
Looks like they are initially releasing in Webisode format (not sure of release schedule) before the Feb TV and BluRay…

For those of you who haven't voted early (and often!), you may want to check out ProCon.org's cool 7-page survey that matches your opinions to those of 5 candidates. I took the survey - as did a couple of my conservative friends - and what a surprise! My conservative friends had Romney #2 in their results, and I had Obama #2 in my results. The surprise was that we ALL had the same #1 result: Virgil Goode.
Who? It seems to me that Mr. Goode has some magic (or at least…

Okay, NatureJunkie has put a fire under me to Do the Doris Bump - that is, to post enough new videos to keep Doris Anne Beaulieu's vids off the Ark's front page. Nothing against Doris, but she's the benchmark of the Ark's unfortunate running aground.
But limited to 2 vids a day (I somehow posted 3 this evening!), I need help. So I challenge my good fellow Arkians to join me in posting new vids. Amy's Emotivids are quick and easy (at least for those of us with an unlimited supply of…

I originally started what I called The Encapsulate Challenge where you were supposed to use 10 seconds or less of video and one title to succinctly express a word, phrase, saying, cliche', whatever.... as a way to create an archive of emotivids, sorta like emoticons accept in video form. I was daydreaming about the old LiveVideo days and
thinking how cool it would have been to have a library of member created emotivids to leave as comments to videos.
examples :…

Okay, Arkians, big wake up call.
Syd, out of the kindness of her heart and the depth of her pocket, forks out a few bucks a month so that the rest of us can play here and have fun. And yet no one's playing these days except...
Doris Anne Beaulieu.
That's right. Doris. Doris who will never read this blog, and so therefore I don't have to worry about hurting her feelings. Because she only dumps her content here from YouTube as she…

Where is that Redbull Stratos going to come down?
What goes up must come down after all.

While the windbags are "debating" (more like talking over each other and evading questions) on TV I am watching this:

When I saw this I failed to come up with a word which describes it. What word would you pick?
Thanks for you consideration.

It's been a long time since grade school, when our principal would haul the school's only television set into the cafeteria and call an assembly so that we could watch the Apollo astronauts. Nothing since then regarding the space program has elicited the same level of excitement, thrill even, I used to feel at being a witness to history.
But I felt a little tiny bit of it again today when the Space Shuttle Endeavor buzzed the Bay Area at 500…

It's a beautiful autumn Sunday morning here in California and I slept late this morning. Just before waking up I had a dream in which Marie made a guest appearance.
I was sitting around a table in a kitchen with my adult family and hers and we were watching a parade on a flat screen TV. But at the same time, the parade was happening live right outside the house and all the children in the neighborhood, including my little brother (who in real life died 4 years ago at the age…

I have been watching one of the most Gut busting series I have ever seen. It is called An Idiot Abroad.
In that I was introduced to Karl Pilkington. I started watching some other conversations on video and in audio from this man. LOL. On the surface some people might judge this man as being a moron. I have to tell you though, if he is.... he is still a brilliant teacher who does impart a unique perspective on the world. For that I want to recognize his…

Howdy Folks
Greetings from Not Europe
So I’m perusing the Bible the other day and come upon this gem.
The story of Joseph,… of Coat of Many Colors fame.
Quick recap; Joseph, the son of Jacob/Israel and Rachel, carries the bloodline from Adam.
He denounces his brothers to his father, gets the aforementioned coat and apart from that, everyone in the hood knows that Jacob/Israel loves Joseph the most, which is bad parenting at…

I was just looking around and couldn't find a book group here. Whats up with that? I read a good deal of books and thats what has been using up most of my time lately.
I just finished the Hunger games books and read to kill a mocking bird this week also. Lets see what else. The dragon tattoo girl books were good. I have read a few Woodhouse books (I just love Bertie).
Anyhow thats all I've been up to.
I know... boring. lol

This is controversial. Google it and you will know why. I didn't think it would ever see the light of day.
And I happen to be Team Sarah on this, not Team TED.
(see video in comment below)
What the heck is so special about TED anyway?

Prometheus Directed by Ridley Scott Written by Jon Spaihts and Damon Lindelof
WARNING : SPOILERS
I don't care what anyone says, I thought Prometheus KICKED ASS and I will see it 42 more times in a row as soon as it comes out on DVD. Here's where I'd like to see it go in the next two sequels to the prequel, preferably with Ridley directing again :
Prometheus leaves us with the question of why the race of giants who sacrificed one of their own to seed our…
