Children do not see color; they see Logos

I was four years old our first night out in Saudi.

We were walking down the streets of Al Khobar at night. I could not comprehend that we were in a foreign country, and I did not realize that the sea of Saudi, Pakistani, Philippino, and Yemeni men who crowded the streets were any different than at home. My Mother

I was raised in the Middle East. We traveled in summer.

We began and ended each summer in London.

My mother raised us with what she refers to as the "Socratic method". That is, she taught us by asking questions.

She died very peacefully and beautifully this morning.

It's hard to believe she's dead because she looks so beautiful.

My Brother

My brother is an accomplished Jazz musician.

His life is interesting.

I like musicians because they have to get around and work together.

Visual Artists (like me) are more or less domestic and don't have to play well with others.

I helped him move out of his apartment last week..I didn't take the TV or Microwave and a few other things because he said a needy friend was going to come by to get them.

Praying To Jesus on Saudia Airline

My first dog was a desert bred saluki pup who was abandoned by the pack.

We called him a saluki (as we called all feral desert dogs) but in hindsight he must have been a cross between a saluki and a Canaan dog. He had the sight hound body and hound ears. But he was much sturdier and his coat was flashy black and white.

Dad named him Spot.

So LV is gone. We knew it was coming. We discussed it. We prepared for it.

Do ARABS Knows BEST?

Lately, I was BLOCKED/FILTERED to watch videos in LV, the reason: Our Local internet provider found LV to be lewd, too mature for their eyes, and dont know what else (only them knows) which I found so selfish and just plain bullsh*t! (sorry for cursing LOL). Latent sucks

Yup it does. The hospital doesn't want me, and this baby is just too damn comfortable. I'm also running out of ideas as to help progress this along! If I haven't had this kid by Wednesday, I guess I'm to get help from the hospital on Thursday, or at least that's the rumor.

Things are looking up!

Went to the doctors AGAIN today. The results from my blood test shows that I'm anemic, which I don't know why they didn't catch sooner since I was with TheChosenOne when I was pregnant with her. On the upside, they found that I'm 1cm dilated. Not that huge I know, but it's a better place to be in than the one I was in Monday. They scraped the membranes today in hopes to help further thin and open the cervix. I've been feeling a little crampy since then, so I'm hoping it helps. I go in for a NST… Continue

A New Day!

I voted first thing yesterday morning. I always vote. The first thing I did when I moved to California was register to vote. I love jury duty, too. I'm weird that way :-)

Baby watch update...

No cervix action. Boo! Not only did I not get news that I wanted, I've got yet more news that makes me go 'hmm'. For example, it actually hurt when they checked, I lost two pounds and my blood pressure went border line again. THEN they send me for 14 blood tests 'just to air on the side of caution' they say. I want to know what the heck is going on. Guess I find out when I go to the doctors again on Thursday or Friday. I'm to go Thursday, but that is my little one's early release day and there… Continue

Proposed Birth Days!

I've been very tired the last couple of days. Getting up is hard when laying down, the lower back complains whenever I move and I waddle to get from point A to point B. I'm feeling very 'done' by this point, but aparently the little one isn't quite there yet!
