Lately, I was BLOCKED/FILTERED to watch videos in LV, the reason: Our Local internet provider found LV to be lewd, too mature for their eyes, and dont know what else (only them knows) which I found so selfish and just plain bullsh*t! (sorry for cursing LOL). It made a big impact on me because you see i love to watch videos in LV, thats what I do when I have free time-watch, appreciate, comment, put hit votes, fave it and more of what you can do to a video. I was like down and out for days when I first found it out, I was cursing and almost threw my things inside my room in disgust, (no im not that violent LOL)..at first I was like denying, oh maybe its because LV was having some maintenance and so vids are not playing, or maybe sometime is wrong with my laptop thats why I cannot watch vids...
I even called my friends to let them try in their homes if they are having the same problem as me..and how pissed off I was and angry when they said "oh man, yes, now its blocked" . Then bad thoughts come rushing into my mind..oh this is just the start, soon the site will be gone..poof! like all other sites that I used to surf and now gone with the wind, I thought damn, what I will do now..this is the only site i enjoy best and the only site that I have so much fun...then, soon as days passed, I sinked in to the fact that yes, its DONE..its BLOCKED...I cant do anything about it anymore..
I dont know, maybe Arabs knows best..thats all I can say for now about this...
and yes, can I just shout once more? louder this time?:

Go ahead, Ferdz- rant all you want. It sucks!!!
I remember when you made your blog at LV (a few weeks ago) about being blocked. You were so upset- now I see even more so how much it effected you. I hope it helps to have the ARK here for ya. It's a great laid-back bunch of folks here.

I'm still hoping for SOMEthing big that brings LV back to its senses. I suck at being a cynic.

Ferdz I was so sorry when you first told us. When I was a little girl in KSA, Israel was blacked out with a marker on every map text book and globe in the school. No kissing on TV except men (even a daughter kissing her fathers cheek) Etc Etc. I thought the UAE was a bit less censoring. They play the game a lot for hardliners within their country by banning things, then sliding a bit , then banning again.
If it's any consolation - no one's posting very much on LV lately..And I'm sure most of us will upload anything new on Ning as well.
