30 Seconds

Right well firstly thanks to all who are taking part, commenting etc on the 30 second vids. Great to see so many cool videos on the Ark.

Secondly I'm slighty stuck with a viewing problem right now. I'm using acomputer where I'm currently living cos I have no wi-fi access to use mine but for some reason videos won't play. I'm using a guest account so can't install the necessary things as I don't have the admin permissions.

Found this app on iTunes the other day and thought a lot of you might like it. It's a 15 sec video sharing app. It has a nice vibe to it. Check it out here. I just updated my facebook status to "hates wshing he was somewhere else". The first response I got is from someone suggesting I settle where I am and think about moving later. Is that how this works?

Like I'm Gonna Burst

I really want to make a video. More than that I want to be inspired to make a video. After all, all the effort in the world won't matter if you're not inspired.

The desire is there but the motivation isn't. Like a second hand jigsaw, I'm missing pieces.

I'm missing the comment streams that would come about as people commented and replied to those comments on videos. The banter.

Being Far Away

When I'm in the USA my social network basically breaks down into two groups. The first group are my soccer players/parents/coaches/board etc. Usually this group consists of very fine individuals who share a common bond but also have the propensity to err on the side of their particular child/team/club. Today a team I coach won a tournament. We've been having a tough time this season with games where we've played well but don't always get the results we deserve. But this weekend the team were brilliant.

Tonight I get an email from parents requesting a meeting with me to discuss their son's playing time.

Open Mic

Last week I went to a cool open mic night. It was different from the ones I've done in the UK. Back home they were always in pubs not coffee shops and they were always musicians performing.

This one had storytellers, poets, harmony singers and musicians ranging from steel guitar slide blues players to autoharp crooners via garage band buddies.

OK the deadline is tomorrow (April 15th) to get clips in.

I need help

To anyone who owns a mac, do you have any recommendations of what kind digital camera is good to use and compatible with iMovie?

I need a small camera that can take still shots and decent video and isn't the most expensive thing in the world.
