I have been working on this old Buckbee banjo for several weeks now and thought I’d show some of the progress I made on it this weekend.

"Baby's a dancer! She's beautiful. So is that banjo. For the inlay that you replaced, what material did you use, assuming that there's no antique ivory to match it with? Your videos are inspiring me to dig my five-string banjo out of…"

"Hilarious Bruce! Very informative AND entertaining! Coming from Florida that white slippery stuff is a nuisance that I never have to endure as it is taken care of before it ever even appears. (One of the few things that the state of Florida stays on…"

"When you first unwrapped that thing, oh my god, I was amazed that it hadn't been long buried in a landfill. I would never have guessed that an instrument in that condition could even be restored. What you did with it is astounding, Willie. You…"

"Originally it was probably some type of hide but being vegan, ahem, I went with a synthetic renaissance head to replace the old one. Glad there are still some who come here. I know I don’t visit often enough. Have you a plan for retirement??…"

"Oh, also looking good Willie.  I so wish I was retired now.   The job is not nurturing my creative side.   Science field is like that for the most part."

Hey Thanks! I did some viedeo for Adams' boat vid last week... first thing I've done in a while. Sick today some kind of coughy chest thing with a stuffy head! Resting now maybe I'll work on my 5o mile relay vid that ran a few weeks ago. I also have another yoga vid to finish... all I need is some 36 hour days! 24 is just not enough! The studio is still doing great and staying busy!
