Whatever floats your boat...
I plan to smooth out some rough edges and add material within the next couple of weeks. But this is close to what I'm after.

LOVE the groove and the imagery.
Once again looking very forward to the end results.
You know most video makers go to great lengths to get the pixels OUT.
Refreshing and retro at the same time.
That effect youre using to zoom in continuously into the images reminds me of an effect I admired in "Limitless" which made me want to try it out too. I don't know how to do it yet. Maybe you can teach me. Looking thru the Taxi cab window to the next image, is a great idea. Looking good, Most importantly, have fun on the journey to create it!
TG! 80% of the footage I used (at least!) is from Limitless. Maybe the few shots I mixed in from the Wall Street sequel made it hard to recognize. Also, since I was avoiding the titles I did a lot of cropping. I don't know how Limitless pulled it off but I think they stitched together quite a lot of still photography in addition to actual video footage. There was just enough movement going on at the edges of the frame, and sometimes in the center, to make it feel like one continuous shot, but stills were used to smooth out the rough spots. This is only my guess. I didn't really try to figure out the technique (as if I could!) but inevitably I spent a lot of time looking pretty closely at the footage.
Gosh, Amy, you mean pixels aren't a good thing? I actually was pulled into the pixelation to disguise the titles playing over the footage. The pixel effect initially made me think of Piet Mondrian's Broadway Boogie Woogie, which I would have cut into the video along with some Duke Ellington. Somehow, paranoia and alienation took over the theme and I dumped the Duke for Iggy Pop. Mondrian didn't really work either...
