Was the narration from "slideshow at university" found by them somewhere or did they write it? You've got a really big video going but I think you're on top of it. "It is our function as artists [warriors] to make the spectator see the world our way, not his way."

If Michael/Marcel was here, he'd probably refer to Storm of Steel by Ernst Junger. Fortunately he's not around.

geoff,

Thanks. I see a few mistakes that I am bothered about in this vid that make me wanna pull it and work on it some more... but I am just going to let it go for now.

There are a few thoughts to the lyrics to the music. The group is a all female "feminist" band, so there are no male voices to throw in there.

More than likely from Marshall McLuhan ?

Some think its criticism towards jackson pollack, mark rothko...

I can't find any actually writings from the Le Tigre stating exactly what the thought process is behind the song.

Wow ! I felt like I was being pulled in many different directions and able to view from each different perspective. A lot goin' on in there. Nice work.

Look out Vimeo.... Lima has arrived. Beautifully edited. When you embed in Ning, make it 640 x480 vimeo vids and it fits just right.

There is no reason why you shouldn't do that. Let it rest for a bit and maybe you will appreciate it more a little later. Or maybe a great new direction will occur to you. The very first video I ever posted was a "draft version" but some people enjoyed it as it was, and seeing it online helped me think about what I wanted to change.

@BlancheNoe, thank you...just remember one must always start the day with a cup of joe before heading into the storm. =)

@chig, Thanks =) Ok, I will try those settings next time.

@Geoff, I am thinking perhaps I will work on it some more when I get back home next week... depending on the work that has piled up.

I think Geoff's advice is good. Editing is such tedious business (for me, that is) that sometimes I just have to put it away and come back to it when I have more energy to focus with. The danger in that is that you can get sidetracked and forget about it altogether.

But whatever your "mistakes" are, you're probably the only one who can see them. ; )
