The 2011 Honk Parade
The Honk Parade happens every October in Somerville and Cambridge (down Elm Street from Davis Square, hang a right at Beech and then left down Mass. Ave. to Harvard Square).
The bands come mostly from the Eastern US. In former years, when the economy was better, we'd get the occasional participant from Europe and a few from Canada but not this year I think.
"There's No Business Like Show Business" was written by Irving Berlin and performed by The Turtles.
