Thanks... I meant to look at some tatts today and got preoccupied... a friend and I decided over drinks yesterday that we are going to get some more ink (after we find out the code/regs for work)

do you have any colorful permanent markings upon you?

Being a who fan, I was a little disappointed last super-bowl.

There was a documentary recently on PBS about the history of tattoos. I worked with one when I was 17-18. I only worked on people who were really drunk - and I did horrible work. Once, at some horrid event, an old biker wanted me to put an eagle's head on his knuckle. When I finished he said, "fuck! It looks like a chicken!" but he really couldn't move, and then he seemed to forget about it.
Enjoyed the silverware most in this - the idea of it.

Lima, I don't have any tattoos but I've got some interesting scars that I got for free! (if you don't count the medical bills...)

An eagle's head on a knuckle? Like one of those calligraphers who inscribe the Lord's Prayer on a grain of rice.

I liked the silverware too. If I were to redo this video I would try to relate the tattoos to each other, at the expense, maybe, of the people. Treat the humans like picture frames and flow from design to design.

I'm far too changeable in my tastes to ever get a tattoo. When I think of the kinds of images I might have permanently put on my skin when I was, say, in my twenties, it makes me cringe with embarrassment for what might have been. But I'm not so mature that I can resist those temporary tattoos they make for kids. I faked out my best friend once with a tiny dragon I glued to my inner forearm. They're really the only fashion accessories I indulge in.

My father taught us to stay away from tats. He would mention it as being an identifier if we were ever in a resistance :-) He had many friends during WWII that got them but he stuck to his guns and kept himself free of markings. I have plenty of natural markings to ID me... moles, freckles, scars (like you mentioned). Out of 5 children, I am now the only one left without a tattoo.

NJ: An old bit of graffiti from a Boston club bathroom--"Wake up people. Tattoos are the big hair of the 1980s." It's a bit of a risk to commit your whims to flesh but that's why some people do it. A record of who they were or their ideas or tastes at a given instant.

Tom, there is talk go round of grabbing you one night, holding you down, and inking your entire vlogger wall into your back.
