Even Hades' dark soul is stirred by Roberta Flack.
Did you think of the song first and then build the video around it, or did it occur to you in the middle of filming/editing? I'm beginning to appreciate the messenger's character more and more: Gods require careful handling. You never quite know where you are with them. That scroll works as veil, Miss America sash, bonnet, and all-round peekaboo prop.
This is the second pig's head you've co-starred with I believe (wasn't the one in Nature Boy a blonde?).

yeah - in this case becasue it's lip sync - I've been dancing around for quite awhile, doing my walk-through type things. Of course I imagine it for a few weeks with many dying messengers at the beginning (wouldn't it be cool if the messenger was in a waiting room, moving closer to his turn, seat by seat as the others get pummelled, and fall out from the curtain?) And I imagined Hades all bloody in battle etc..Then I actually do it..(this afternoon) and everything becomes simplified.
I did do Hades knife movements to Roberta Flack but threw Finlandia in there last minute. Fit perfectly.
Yeah! The pink one happens to be in the painting next to the messenger.

I've watched this three times now, and I crack up each time at the messenger's dance moves. Not because they're lame--no no! Because they're part of elaborating the lie. He's like a little kid trying to make the lie more real.
And oh, by the way, Hades's threads make you look about a foot taller. Weird!

NatureJunkie, wish I had thought of that..Wouldn't it be cute if he did that "hands around the back" make out gesture that boys used to do?
Last two vids I put the laptop on the floor in the corner to film Hades in his throne, his pants are long too...And the messenger outfit length with bright green tights is about as unflattering as possible for this short girl.
