Danger Zone ! When I was a kid it was safe. The damages were limited to whatever cash I had on me.

Now they take credit cards.

Beginning in the early 1800's, the Santa Fe Plaza served as a terminus for the Old Santa Fe trade route from New Mexico to St. Louis.  It's where all the trading took place.  Now it serves tourists. Along the Palace of the Governors, the Native American folks still sell their wares.
