Update on Kevin (Photo)

The last we heard from Kevin, he had asked for prayers regarding his mom, who'd had a minor stroke.

For anyone who's been wondering, his mom was in a hospital for a little while and then she got very depressed and was transferred to a geriatric hospital that specializes in depression. She's doing okay, although Kevin's not able to see her.

He's having a difficult time adjusting to the absence of his mom and it's compounding his physical condition, which means his hands are too numb to be able to type on the computer.

He wanted me to let you guys know he's thankful for the prayers and thankful to those of you who've inquired about him.

He'll return just as soon as he's able.

Thinkin' about you guys, Kevin. I can't imagine how hard it would be to not even be able to be by her side. Very sorry for both your suffering.

My Mom is giving up..she refuses to eat and drink or take her meds. She was given an iv of fluids the past two days..almost non-responsive today. I begged her to take her meds a little while ago. Cried to myself for awhile.

Kevin, please find someone who can help you in your time of need. Maybe a member of the clergy, or a relative or friend. You shouldn't be going through this alone.

Suz..I am so sorry your Mom is having problems. I wish I could be with my Mom..but I can't dwell on that. I let her know I love her every day. Prayers going up for you and your Mom right now.
