Update on Kevin (Photo)
The last we heard from Kevin, he had asked for prayers regarding his mom, who'd had a minor stroke.
For anyone who's been wondering, his mom was in a hospital for a little while and then she got very depressed and was transferred to a geriatric hospital that specializes in depression. She's doing okay, although Kevin's not able to see her.
He's having a difficult time adjusting to the absence of his mom and it's compounding his physical condition, which means his hands are too numb to be able to type on the computer.
He wanted me to let you guys know he's thankful for the prayers and thankful to those of you who've inquired about him.
He'll return just as soon as he's able.

Syd..everyone..I'm not back, but It is important for me to let you all know how meaningful and profound your prayers, thoughts, messages all are to me. Please keep the positive coming. I won't lie..I wake up, and as soon as I remember what has happened to my Mom, I am filled with anxiety and fear. As I told Syd, it's been my Mom and me against the world since my Dad passed years ago. Even immediate family members don't understand..or care about..what this all feels like.
I will try to write but I am in tremendous pain..but I read your messages when I can.
Please keep the positive thoughts and prayers coming for my Mom Olga.

4:22am..called the hospital at 9pm, my Mom is sinking into deep depression again. She is refusing food and hydration. She was sounding better early in the week..but it's like a switch was turned off. She is barely communicative. I'm scared.
