Whatever floats your boat...

Thought I’d share a few questions I was asked back in the old days of LV. My answers follow. If you feel so inclined, your responses would be most welcome. I did a response video. If I find it I'll post it too.

Q. Show and Act of Love

A. I kissed my husband. I didn’t repeat something I overheard. I bought lunch for a friend. I laughed at a joke. I wrote a blog.

Q. What is most important to you?

A. To be worthy of the love I receive.

Q. What do you want to be remembered for?

A. That I took the road less traveled; Found beauty in simple things; felt genuine gratitude; shared freely, laughed often and experienced true joy; that I have loved truly, deeply, without reservation or qualification;

That I lived well.

Hey Dana.  Happy Thanksgiving!

Act of Love: Two years this month as a vegetarian out of a love for animals

Most Important: To leave this world one day feeling confident that I did my part

Would like to be remembered for: teaching in a way that transformed lives (this one was hard for me- the older I get, the less I care about how or even if I'm remembered...)

Act of Love:   Work in progress on a few fronts.

Most important:  may not be mine... could be more important things are owned by the people around me.

Remembered for:   remembered is more than anyone could consider really.  Maybe not having one thing sum up your existence makes for better mystery.   Everyone enjoys a good mystery.

Act of Love: Whenever I visited my friend Carolyn after she went blind, I used to read the entire issues of The Atlantic Monthly and The New Yorker, cover to cover, out loud to her, even though I've never liked either of those magazines and it always gave me a sore throat for a couple of days. She is gone now and I would give anything to be able to read them to her all over again.

Most Important: Having the respect of my sister, who is twice the human being I will ever be.

Would Like to be Remembered For: Hopefully something that won't make people know my middle name, and hopefully for something that brings a smile to their faces when they think of me.

DANA - DANA - DANA - I've missed you  :0) - more bloggs please.

Act Of Love: I buy an extra big bag of cat food every third week and leave it at my neighbors door.  She has been feeding the strays in the area for years.  She shows the true act of love I just add to it :0)

Most Important:  Living.  I have always understood the importance of cultivating friendships.  At the end of the day or your life, friends and family really are the most important thing you have so you have to make a real and true effort.

Remembered:  I have to agree with Syd, I'm not concerned how or even if I am remembered, really.  Still, I think my surviving family would say "Our Pyper was definately a hugger" and my friends might say "Always turn the radio down before you start her truck"....ha

Syd - Back Atcha'! I've thought about going vegetarian. It would be a great diet for me. I'd lose a ton of weight because I don't like cooked veggies. I don't really care if I'm remembered either. I won't know anyway. But I would like to be remembered fondly or forgotten altogether as opposed to being remembered badly! LOL

Chig - Well said! And hooray for mysteries!!!

NJ - I think you underestimate yourself. Better leave your self evaluations to me. :c)

Pyper - Pyper - Pyper - back atcha' and I'm on it. :c) Well said. And, If I ever have to start your truck I'll remember that. :c)
