Whatever floats your boat...
Howdy Folks
Greetings from Not Europe
I am relieved.
BlancheNoE was prowling the halls today. Prevented from doing cartwheels simply because the drip could not keep up. She only has one tube left, going into her neck, which is also my personal favorite because it leaves your hands free and doesn’t get so tangled in the bed sheets and as an added bonus, doesn’t hurt, like the one on top of the hand.
She had the last wound drain removed. It leaked enough to warrant a stitch and as the Doctor prepared the needle with the local anesthetic, Blanche had nothing better to do than to glare at him and say,
“This better not leave a scar!”
I could see her out on Monday. That would mean, in and out in a week.
Which has me thinking about all the positive energy you folks have been sending our way. I kept her posted by printing out your comments and bringing them to her.
We are looking forward to being with Ruth.
Which again has me thinking about all the positive energy you folks have been sending our way. I’d personally like to thank all of you for what it did for me. I find your messages very reassuring and uplifting. I don’t feel alone in my struggle and this I can convert into strength. Thank you all.
Looking So much forward to hearing from Amy, and hearing that singing voice again. I SO have been hoping for all the same things,as Syd's sentiment above. Life will open up again, Dear Amy, for you as you so deserve and you Will make the best of what you have been given as you always have. nothing will change here, except release from the grips of that stifling disease. I am always thinking of your fight, and waiting to see you be able to hold that guitar against you again and sing, to be athletic again and breathe deeply...with ease. to Live. you DRAG that IV Pole around those halls until they kick you out! You're doing it like a Ninja!
To Pen: everything will look so very different once you are out of that hospital. Days of hourly evaluations and disrupted sleep will fade, it's all going to be behind you. Your girl is moving so fast down that road she is no doubt leaving heads spinning. RUTH being there With you is an incredible gift. she is the most selfless person I know. this family has been thinking of speaking of and hoping for you all along. they all send their love.
So happy to hear Amy is on the road to recovery. Thank goodness for organ donors.
So she went with the stitches huh? I would have asked for the duct tape option.
It is so more..... well Blanch.
Such good news! Really am happy for you both. If Ruth comes out to help then that is an absolute bonus as she is brilliant. Wishing you a continued speedy recovery Amy.
I'm sure you'll match her cartwheel for cartwheel when Amy checks out of the hospital. I'm so glad about this outcome.
Hey...John and Amy...do you guys have any single friends?! See you Monday :-)
AWESOME. Amy got herself a new liver, JUAN is going to visit and Pen didn't have to get a bigger onion. Life is sweet.
I'm so happy. I'm heading out to buy a chocolate lava cake. I have no shame, I'll use Amy's new live as an excuse to indulge.
I'm so happy that everything has turned out well and Blanche is up and moving around.
