Whatever floats your boat...

...QUIT tryin' to make me pop staples. The docs don't want that to happen for at least another 2 weeks....so they told me to re-visit your comments at that time and not before....anything to make their jobs easier, eh?

Syd, I just knew a busload full of nuts was the perfect reminder of us and as a bonus, we thought the driver even looked a bit like you.

My first day home was wonderful. I slept a solid 4 hours the first night.

Unfortunately I hadn't read Lima's noodle recommendations yet and added the flavor packets to the Ramen

(3 whole servings in about 5 hours) so I had heartburn so bad last night that I didn't sleep at all. I learned my lesson though and went much easier on all flavors today so I'm hoping to maybe get 6 hours of shut eye tonight.

I am just so, SO blown away by all the love here. I'm more humbled than I ever could have imagined being and I am just in awe of my husband's strength and love for me. I can't believe what he's endured for me. I've fallen even deeper in love with him which would have seemed impossible. Thank you all so much for being here when he needed support. I feel like the most fortunate girl on the planet.

As S.A. Murray said : God bless us every one.

Merry Christmas.

A strange P.S.  11 hours of intubation straightened out my overbite by about 75%. I thought maybe I was imagining it in the hospital but John has now confirmed. I'm not telling the docs 'cause I'm sure they'll figure out a way to charge me for it if I do.

Again if they would have gone with the duct tape option, there wouldn't  be a problem now would there?

Yeah, I think you lucked out in the hubby department.   Don't read the next part Blanch....

Pen, did they install that volume control in her like you asked?  Be sure to put batteries in the remote before you try it out. Just remember to hit the erase memory button so she doesn't suspect a thing.

They corrected your overbite? I think overbites are sexy. You should get your money back.

HOME!!! Is there a more peaceful and promising word when you need to "heal"?  To do it with your guardian (John)  beside you, even more peaceful.  You have been blowing my mind with your recovery and I hope this is the most Merry Christmas you and John will ever experience. All good, all peaceful, maybe a little twinkle, some music, breathing deeply and drinking in the new life you are approaching...I know you have a struggle everyday, never let myself forget...that's why I'm wishing you all the strength you deserve to get thru each day..ONE at a time...each one toward your next tomorrow....weird, I know...

no matter how tough a day can be...

I've always heard that we are what we put in our bodies.  In your case, Amy, it's definitely true.  You're a LIVER!!!  Lots of love and healing energy, Jim
