Whoa. What happened to the last 2 years?

A lot, I guess. I haven't been in hiding, I wasn't actually locked in Victor1st's closet this whole time, and I didn't die of boredom/frustration/starvation while on hold on the phone for 782 days with Suddenlink (although it was close). I've actually been semi-productive with my life. Except for this morning, which I admit is still being spent in my pajamas at 11am. But we won't count that.

I re-joined college life around the same time I disappeared from LV to study sleep medicine. I'm still digging (and sleeping) my way through this adventure which, if all goes right, will somewhat come to a semi-end with graduation in May 2010. I'll then sit for my board exam later next year and afterward, recover all the zzZZZzzZzZzzZzz's I lost while watching other people gain them. Quite a contradictive world I have entered... I help you sleep, which means I don't. Awesome.

Outside of my sadistic school schedule, I've further complicate my life by working in the insane asylum that some refer to as the ER. No, it is nothing like Grey's Anatomy or House. There is much more work involved and far less sex. Just FYI.

Time plays weird tricks on people -- it crawls so slowly when I look towards school graduation and having to pay my last tuition -- but at the same time it seems like I've fast forwarded through so much without even having the chance to buckle my seat belt yet... has it really been almost two years since I worked with AskTheTyrant on making a video? Or appeared on The Big Red Door? Or watched Steve515 drool over his latest obsession?

Craziness, I tell ya. Craziness.

So anyway. I'm here and looking to catch up with old friends, make a few new ones, and see what everyone is up to these days. I also still need to figure all these new sites out since it seems that everyone has scattered themselves across the entire internet... oh how I already miss the days of having you all in one spot.

Oh well, life goes on. It's a fun ride. :-)

First off,..you get a total pass for not being around,...in fact you deserve an award for such a rewarding and challenging offline life,..now, you realize you've just told everyone at the party that you're a doctor,...so I'll go first : can you puh-LEASE tell me what this stuff that accumulates between my toes when I sleep is ?!?!,...just kidding. I am utterly fascinated by sleep studies. Umm,..insomnia?,..yeeeeaaaahhh, but thanks to people like you, I've got it pretty much under control now, sans meds. So glad you checked in Timber. Wishing you sweet dreams soon.

Hold up... who let the intelligent person in here? There goes the neighborhood.
P.S. unlike House, there is not much sex, drugs and rocknroll happening in the clinical and anatomic Pathology areas.
We however think the E.R. is a looney bin as well.
Congrats on the big brain, and it is good to have you around.

I always wondered what happened to you, Timber. When someone else took over your LV channel, I was totally confused. But mostly I was sad to lose such an interesting online acquaintance as yourself. I'm glad you're back.

I am thoroughly impressed. I think the Ark's IQ average just jumped 2 points. Also, I like your writing style. It is rivaled only by my own. Enjoy a sample:

Timber back. Adams happy. Must eat food now.

The food thing of course is unrelated to Timber being back, it's just that I got back from work and traditionally I am hungr... errr... never mind, welcome back ;-)

I love your blog title. I read somewhere that as long as a word begins and ends with the correct letter, the brain will gauge the length of the word and deduce what the correct word is supposed to be--but all without conscious thought. I think you just proved it.

I wasn't familiar with you on LV, but it's nice to see you here.

Hey there! Welcome back. Slowly recovering from my own video sabbatical myself. Take comfort in knowing that everybody is as frakking nuts as you left them.
