The Ark Plan?

Hello Arkians!  

Hope all is well on your side of the monitor.

I'm hearing buzz around these here Internetz about another Ning ultimatum coming down the road (early summer) and while I haven't yet gone too deep into what the options are yet, I wanted to first get a raise of hands as to who is still interested in keeping the Ark afloat.  

All I need is a YES in the comments below to let me know who's still in this.  

If I get roughly a dozen or so, I'll keep at it and will post an update next week (Spring Break!) about the plan as we move ahead (or not).

Yea, still breathin' over here. I can contribute again if you need.

Maybe we want to consider some way of keeping the group together somewhere that is FREE like the group you made on Vimeo if one of us wants to take a deep look into the options.  Facebook does host pictures and video and the social connection of commenting to each other. If theres a site where we can do those things free of charge, I'm certainly willing to keep in touch somewhere else.  Maybe we could make a group page that prohibits public access there or somewhere else if this ning continues to burden you with having to pay a fee. I'm completely open to whatever just to keep in touch with the Ark group.

Well, thanks you guys!  With Chig's contributions, that makes over three hundred YES's so the plan will be to continue.  I'll check into this new Ning-ie thing-ie on the horizon and will keep you posted.  

ThatGirl- If Ning 3.0 requires any more than what we already pay, that may have to be a Plan B.
