Whatever floats your boat...
I just mainlined Jimmy Kimmel’s Mean Tweets and I’m feeling thankful for having done so and I wanted to organize them here to share with you so you can do the same. You can’t eat just one.
The best one I ever got, which was actually a Mean Comment dropped at LiveVideo, was something about me fucking my brother and then some ponderings on my personal hygiene and what my genitals probably smelled like.
Do you remember yours ?

Wow. Harsh.
Now I DO feel thankful, 'cause I have nothing to share here. So far, not one person has ever left an unkind comment for me.
I should feel thankful, right? Not left out?
@ TG- Ouch, for sure. jesus, Mary & Joseph. It's sad that people hate themselves that much.
@ NJ- You just didn't hang around live video or You Tube long enough and really I just wanted to share the hilarious responses from the celebrities. Some of them are priceless. If you like I can drop you a nasty comment so you have one for the file. Just let me know.
Okay. Just as long as it's not about me fucking my brother or about the hygiene of my lady parts.
^^^ Poopy-head.
@Any - yea, its actually so repulsive,I have never gone back to thinking about it much less put it into words, so I'm going to delete that GROSSNESS above.
In exchange for sharing mean comments that are veiled compliments right here with you guys:
do we need a new blog for this " I am thankful for your crazyazz" Tribute stuff?
Dear Blanchie, I am thankful for your unending well of creatively fucked up ideas and i adore you insane homemade props.
is that so wrong?
I think, Blanchie, you put yourself out there a lot more than most of us ever did. You were much more creatively provocative and political (My faves were the "Take Back the Words" series), so I can understand where you had more negative stuff thrown at ya.
Someone once directed me to a video Mike Skehan directed toward me on LV, but I wasn't one to give stuff like that more power by acknowledging it. I think it's great how hater comments are making haters into the cliche that they are.
This "mean tweets" feature of the Jimmy Kimmel show became a topic at a party at my office the day before Thanksgiving. People were sharing their favorite mean tweets, which would inevitably result in that vocal sound that begins with an "O" of surprise and then slides downscale to express disapproval, then it would be followed by laughter. One of my co-workers said she did not understand how those celebrities could bring themselves to even read those tweets, let alone read them out loud to an audience. I thought about that and I came to the conclusion that every one of those celebrities is a class act for doing so. As Syd says above (I think), it's a way of making the haters the object of derision by having the hate reflect back on themselves.
@ NJ- I think my fave is " David Blaine looks like his voice is putting his face to sleep."
@ Syd (and then NJ)- YES. Mirrors can be powerful.
Sadly, I never had enough "mean comments" on LV. I practically begged for them, but the only ones I got were from X and Erica and they were definitely not mean enough to mention.
