Whatever floats your boat...
My friend Rik and I went to the dog pound and came home with Steve. He's a 5-yr old Corgi/Papillon mix and perfect in every way! Rik is also my neighbor and will come doggy-sit if I'm not home.
Topanga is very dog-friendly and I can bring him to work with me most days. He curls up and sleeps at my feet while I work. I got so lucky! He's been here since Thursday and it seems like he's always been here.
Thanks to NJ and Chig for the inspiration.

YIPPEEEEEEE! When I saw the title, truth to tell, I was hoping that you were referring to a dog. I hated to hear that you had to give up your beloved dogs in the divorce. I can see that a little fella like Steve can be easily accommodated in your current digs, and the work situation is ideal. He's adorable.
You saved a life, Ruth. Good on ya!
He'd been there 10 days and was literally on borrowed time. In fact, I got a 50% discount on him because he'd been there so long.
I was going to get a "rescue" dog from rescue organization, but someone pointed out to me that those dogs had already been rescued.
I'll tell ya what, though....if you want a pit bull, the pound in Chatsworth, CA is the place to go!
STEVE!!! I love the name. He is so handsome. I'm with Naturejunkie - I expect some cute Steve videos, Missy.
Pets are good for the soul. I love my pets more than McDonald french fries, man. That's love.
He's a lucky dog, Ruth. I think Steve can be the mascot in our eye wear club, eh? Get him a pair of dog goggles and lets do the danm thang :0)
"...the mascot in our eye wear club"?????
*sigh*
Okay, just don't put a pink summer dress on him, please.
You and Steve made me smile.:-D
Looks like you both are sharing some smiles as well.
Funny where we can find our smiles.
