I grew up with a fear of Great White Pines, (like who didn't, right?). It all changed for me when I met an Indian Guide who taught me how to overcome my fear and survive alone in the woods. It's all a matter of staying steps ahead of the pine by anticipating it's sudden appearance. What gives it away you ask? It's the bark!
