The Need for Documentation in Art/Life

If you didn't document it, it never happened. Creating and executing a performance piece: Dual Gallant, in a workshop led by Allan Kaprow in 1980.

I believe it *is* the doing that is most important. Think of the ripple effects,...how did your performance effect those who experienced it?,..did they go home and tell someone about it?, did they give a dollar to the homeless person on the corner after they saw it?,..did they go home and beat their spouse?,....oh ,..it HAPPENED alright,...whether it was documented or not.
,..however, I am very glad this was documented.
,..now if you'll excuse me,...I hafta' go beat my spouse.

don't forget to film it, there is a big market
