Rich Woman Disappointed
From the disappointing ashes of my last video, 27 Jennifers!
"Rich Woman" is by Robert Plant and Allison Krause.
"Disappointed" is by Morrissey.
It's all based on green screen work: green shapes moving on white backgrounds, and then I key out the colors, usually leaving a thick or thin white fringe. There are two "families" of shapes, some rectangles moving from left to right, and the dominant pattern of intersecting circles and curves that I worked up from part of design by the Swiss artist Karl Gerstner. The Gerstner designs develop following continuous clock wipes.
The clever hands belong to the magician Ricky Jay and I think the suave guy in the black and white footage is Cardini, one of Jay's mentors and influences.

Morissey ..BAMMM...choice selections both musically and visually..what a great start . a Bond-like feel...your trippy fractal style music vids would be great played on the wall in a club while the music plays...totally would get ME dancing...

I like this one. "Rich Woman" goes with it very well. And I like ThatGirl's suggestion, too. I never thought of these as dance songs but seeing this on a wall BIG would make me want to get up and move.
