Paris couture has got nothin' on that (laughing). What a wonderful way to wake my Indian (Cherokee) spirit. Thanks for feeding my "light dog" this morning, Victoria.

Happy to do that Blanche :) (The feathers are nothing unless they are flying on bird or (wo)man!)

When I was in college, I knew a young Lakota man who used to make hours and hours of recordings of drumming and chanting at pow wows; then he'd play them back in the art studio where he painted dreamy landscapes of the reservation. I'm sure it put him in a hypnotic state, because that's what it did to me.

This recaptured that for me. I liked the slightly slowed down motion of it. It made the dancers look like suspended jellyfish floating in rhythm to the music.

@ Nature, what a great memory. It's hard to frame it but the drumming, music and dance puts you in a zone. you just "feel it". (I esp liked the young boy dancing..... he flew around the floor and was in the zone....very kewl.)

Enjoyed, beautiful song. I missed our last two pow-wows due to duty weekends... I am really hoping I can make our next one.

Vimeo will make you happy with the video quality.
