What was that beeping towards the end? Did you touch the shark or would that be harassing for it?

Whalesharks are "vegetarians", living on plankton. Not dangerous!
Yes, I touched the whaleshark at the fin. I could not resist.
The shark could easily wipe away the divers with the tail fin, if needed!

The beeping was an alarm signal not to ascend as fast as the whaleshark. Fast ascent is dangerous, could lead to diver's paralysis.

This is beautiful! Really nice camera work, Og. It's cool how the spots on the shark's skin seem to be luminescent. I also liked the quietness of the sounds: just the flow of water and bubbles rising.
