John you rock.   Your coworkers rock.  Amy you rock.   Rejection and infection aint worth shit, so I expect you to kick those silly possibilities out of the picture.  Wish it was June already for you.

@ Chiggars- Thank you. Your support meant a LOT to pen. He'd come back to the hospital after stopping at home and talk of your comments.

@ Syd- Hugs back. The funny looking white building that looks sort of like a rain collector is the Science Center where we saw the Star Trek expo.

@ Lima- HA HA !  AWEsome. I was trying to quote from 6 Million Dollar man but that's even better (the Hair).

I always loved Lindsey Wagner.

Wow, Amy....what a journey.  I still find it mind-boggling what wonderful shape and spirits you were in while I was there--just 2 weeks after the surgery.  John is utterly amazing and such a great source of strength (and organization) for you!  Love you both dearly!

@ Ruth- I said it before and I'll say it again : If laughter is the best medicine, you and Chig sped my healing up to double-time, at least,...okay, you may have also made me pop a staple but I got 36 more where that came from so pfffffft.

@ TG- HA !,...and Urine my thoughts daily. I KNEW you'd appreciate the value of processing the proper amount before you're allowed out of sick-jail. I was even more excited when I pooped but even *I* didn't want to see that on camera,....besides, it's so yesterday (2 girls 1 cup).

The last line of this brought tears to my eyes.

All through your ordeal, you have made me appreciate the smallest pleasures: being able to eat whatever I want, to have the strength to take my dogs for extended walks, to sit and take a deep breath to the bottom of my lungs, to wrap my arms around my guitar, and now, today, to be able to brush the tangles out of my hair everyday. I'm so sorry I was one of the people who could have visited and missed out on the blood and gore, because it would have made me appreciate the absence of that in my life, too.

Welcome back to the good life, Amy.
