Whatever floats your boat...
All Good Things from Peter Adams on Vimeo.
The economy takes it's toll on everybody, including me. The challenges I am facing leave me without time and energy to do anything creative.
Hell, I'm rarely in the right frame of mind to enjoy someone elses work.
I actually took a time out from "real life" issues to complete Zombie Hunter 2 - a video that was supposed to be a Halloween Special last year. And that was less fun that it used to be, it had more of a "fulfilling an obligation" feel to it. That's why it might look half-assed, sorry bout that. I was hoping to at least complete the projects that I publically said I would do, so that's one down.
Bondski 2 I am sad to announce had to be canceled due to
reasons beyond my control. I apologise to everyone who submitted clips for that one, if it had been up to me it would have been online a year ago.
But circumstances changed, a bit of bad luck here and there and the project has come to a dead stop. Leaves only one.
Adams Trek 4 I am not going to give up on. It has been on and off since 2008 and I am SOOOO close to getting all I need (a bloody scavenger hunt is what it is). Since there's no danger that this is getting done anytime soon, I'll leave it on "in production". I'm calling it: release date December 22nd 2012
On everything else I am going to go an an extended break to deal with said "real life" issues. It might take me a few months, bear with me.
Keep the ship afloat while I'm gone and in the meantime, join me in a completely self absorbed tour through the past 4 years of video making. Be seeing you ;-)

I really understand and I feel ya... (that's what she said) Video making is not going anywhere, always take care of you first... I have been in a daze lately with the economy and being single is even harder! I know you are not really going anywhere... too many of us have many ways to contact you if need be.
I will have to break out the Miss you LT. Adams video from 2007 =)
love you P! =)
So I'm assuming they are keeping you in the "under-employed" category ,..you know, just enough hours to where you can't claim unemployment ? Otherwise you'd have time to make videos. I can understand the uninspired part of the equation though. I know what it is like to get completely pummeled by ,..uh,..unpleasantries, to the point where you don't feel you have anything good to offer.
BUT we love you all the same no matter what. I'm here wishing you very good stuff in the near future.
,...and where's my butt-plug? You said you sent it back about a year ago and don't give me the " It must have been the mail service " shit either. You said the same thing when I never got my merkin back from you.
Dude, do you think you can spot me the money on the shipping charge for this?
I hope things get better for you. Anything that messes with or impedes your desire to create is my enemy. DANM LIFE CIRCUMSTANCES!!!
Really enjoyed this video.
4:15 / 4:16 into the video - very sexy look.
"The challenges I am facing leave me without time and energy to do anything creative." I know more than one person in that situation right now, and I've certainly been there myself. Those are the times when you can be grateful that nothing ever stays the same.
I think you're wise to step back when what used to be fun starts to feel like obligation. It's the first step towards burn out, and I'd hate to see your filmmaking peter out that way. (Pun intended.) For now, do what you need to do to sustain body and soul. When you're ready to have fun again, we'll all be waiting to have fun with you. Take care, Peter. Things will turn around.
I hear you man. Part of me wants to get back into it but the reality of life and family make it so that I can't. I really got into video making when I was in a bad spot in my life and had a lot of free time. Now that things are good, there really isn't time, energy, and bandwidth to complete anything.
And when it's not fun, or not as fun as it could be because of your other issues, there isn't any point in continuing until things clear up.
I'm sure you'll be back though when you're able.
