The Ark

Whatever floats your boat...

Chris Cobb did an installation at Adobe Book Store where he arranged all of the books by color. This made for some very interesting bedfellows. Books who had never been on the same side of the room were now cozying up to each other.
Great way to discover new books.

This is a response to Dana's trip to the bookstore blog

What a beautiful bookstore! Is it still arranged by color? A perfect place to teach one of my classes. Thank you, Margaret, for the wonderful response and lovely video. :c )

Note to self : don't use yellow for book jacket or it will end up in the ",...for Dummies" section.

Laughed out loud at Syd's comment ( totally ). I personally was attracted to the greens, blues, beiges, golds and blacks. Perfect choice of music.

Quilting Bee video coming soon.

@Syd Comment envy.

What a novel concept. ;-) Regular book stores seem so regimented and restricting now: everything in a separate neighbourhood, making it difficult to get out and meet new ideas, expand one's horizons...
