I can imagine the water evaporating out of that fountain under the hot sun even as you're looking at it.

 

Drought is downright depressing, ain't it? In my neck of the woods we've had an unusually rainy winter and spring, right into June. I loved every day of it.

Dew point is starting to climb though.  Not much longer.  Hope everything isn't ashes by then.

NJ- sure, rub it in  ;o)

 

Chiggums- really...?  It's a-comin'?   Aw man, when it rains, I'll be out there dancin' in it, naked!!  (as long as it's night time and as long as my shot is good when I BB-gun the street lamp...)

 

Space- I'll bet it gets pretty old.  We get more than enough sunshine here and we have a beautiful BIG sky. You can see the storm comin' a day before it gets here and you can smell it, too- a wonderful earthiness in the air.  The last time it rained (a looong time ago), my students asked if we could go outside and feel it but we were in the middle of something that seemed more important.  Now I regret it.  Anyhoo, hope you get some sunshine and that we get the rain real soon.
