@justa - dont you just hate those ugly drawers? I wish i could keep them in glass tanks.. but it takes up too much room. this is a special rack built just for ball pythons..they may be happier in the drawers.. but im not! hehe

When I lived in San Diego in the early 60s I used to catch horned lizards (horny toads) for a local barber who used his front window as a sort of lizard petting zoo. I kept a few at home, too. I also caught some scorpions, but they kept offing themselves. Live free or die.

I had a neighbor, as a child, who had three snakes as pets. I never understood the attraction to pet snakes. Pet's are about interaction and affection. They provide unconditional love and admiration. You can't get those things from snakes.
Take my pet cat's for example, they are a constant source of......um...er.....actually, they ignore me.........never mind ;0)
@annalida - oh man im totally envious! I love horned lizards!
@pyper - come on...you know you wanna touch my snake =/
@strawman - lol well these are ball pythons so they wont eat my cats...well..anyone with a chihuahua might want to keep their distance..they do eat rats o.O
