Chig’s comment on "1 Minute - Why I'm Famous in Topanga":

“Great idea Ruth. Does anyone here really want to see one minute of me picking up dog poop though?”

Well, someone has to clean the cages.

Yes indeed, some dog has been taking his "Wheaties". I would say "Breakfast of champions", but our latest dog is a recycler, and with that disturbing thought I will leave the rest up to your imagination.

I could do one like this, but I have 2 German Shepherds and it would totally lose the "cutsie" vibe...!

I have seven cats who are smart enough to put it all in one scented place. Hmmm... how does "Time Lapse Cat Shats" sound for a video?

@ Michael: All that fertilizer, and I'm not supposed to use it in my garden...

@ Chig: Wheaties is a recycler sometimes too, I'm afraid. It's absolutely stomach churning. I won't be mentioning it in his adoption bio.

@ Ruth: I hear ya. If Chig had done this, he would have had your problem times two.

@ Jim: I have three cats, also intellectually gifted, as yours are. In fact, it took me several days to train Wheaties to ring a bell to let me know when he has to go out. But Bug, my cat, learned to ring the bell by watching Wheaties.

@ Strawman: My one outdoor cat has made his own "sandbox" in the duff under a redwood tree in my backyard. The indoor boxes are just too civilized for him, I guess.

@ Suze: Yes, it's very convenient when they mummify in the sun. That's my excuse for accumulating them over a period of a few days, and I'm sticking to it.

Talk about keeping it real. That's how most people spend most of their life minutes - CHORES.

That is one lazy, hairless dog you're fostering, natureJunkie. ;0)

You have powerfully captured the act, Nature. I'm pretty sure I can smell that.

Ahhh, so glad I tuned in! Really!

@ Pyper: Yup, it's how I spend most of my minutes. I don't even want to think about how much time I've spent scooping cat boxes in the last 30 years. (Wheaties may be lazy and hairless now, but when I get done with him, he will be a superdog, as robust as Lassie.)

@ Blanche: Why, thank you very much! I tried to do what I could, given Ning won't supply us with Smell-o-rama. Seems like they should, what with the new highway robbery rates they wanna charge us.

@ Peacenik: It must remind me of how I spend my vacation when I'm at your house.
