Whatever floats your boat...
I live 70 miles south of where the fires are blazing in Sonoma County this week. Today I drove to a hillside a mile away from my house and took pictures of the air. The air quality is rated as dangerous. I will not take Buddy for a walk in it and he has cabin fever. I do too, now that I think of it.
Thinking of and worrying about you. I'd love for you to come back to our neck of the woods but not because you have to. Between you, my son and daughter (and if Flop is still on the coast), the whole West coast is peppered with people I love and worry about every waking moment.
That's so sweet, Blanche, thank you. Floppy and I are safe from the heat of the flames, but as you know, whenever butterflies flap their wings, we all become connected by the aftereffects. I have many friends in the fire zones and I'm both fearful for them and heartbroken to know what they're going through. I hope your son and daughter are doing well.
BTW, we had high winds during the night so the air quality in my town is better today and Buddy and I will get our first walk in days. But the same winds that cleared my air fanned the flames up north, so I expect more bad air and bad news in the days ahead.
