Whatever floats your boat...

Anyone know where I can find a FREE (I am poor) selective blur filter for iMovie HD on a Mac? I don't care if it's a blue dot or distortion but it has to allow one to place it where wanted in the clip.

Thanks!

I'm a Mac person, but you're WAY ahead of me in the skills department, Kevin. Sorry. Bet you a dollar to a donut that Chig knows, though.

Oh, wait...you can download paint.net, import the pic and use the localized blur tool!

Geesh, that link takes you to all kinds of Mac-complications.

How's about using an online editor like this one: http://fotoflexer.com/

@NJ, not all that skilled here, just a long time Mac user. :)

@Syd, thx for the links. :) It's the localized blur tool I really need. I can't find one in iMovie.

1) There are hundreds of free iMovie plugins at http://imovie.pluginsworld.com/plugin.php?directory=apple&softw... ...

2) Manually, you can capture a screen shot of your movie, blur the screen shot in you PhotoShop-or-whatever editor, then drop this blurred image over your movie, and finally crop the image so that only the part you want blurred is placed over the original footage.

Hope I didn't confuse you too much!

@AF, I understand the concept, I'll give it a shot, thanks!
