Tahllulah's Put Blanche in the Hospital Tag

Tahllulah was tagged to read a brief passage from Harper Lee's novel "To Kill a Mockingbird"--in either the bathtub or the shower. Unfortunately, Miss T was unavailable for this performance, and pledged a handsome donation to the fundraiser if a trusty understudy would handle the role.

One of my all time favorite books! And say, it appears that a rather loose interpretation of these tags is permissible. I just may sleep easier tonight.

Though it *was* a bit dry *snicker*, a fine reading over all.

@ Annelida: One of my very favorite books, too. Doing this is making me consider reading it for the third time. Loose interpretation? Maybe. But I wouldn't sleep too easy.

@ Michael: There are always loopholes for those willing to find them.

@ BlancheNoE: I went for subtlety. I saw no reason for drenching the scene with emotion.

@ LtAdams: I thought that's what you recruited this for:

I love this movie..um..book.

You ruined the entire video by removing your glasses before looking into the camera. What were you thinking? Sheesh.......

@ Marie: That is gracious of you. Fortunately for the world at large, I'm not giving Sissy Spacek anything to worry about.

@ Pyper: All I can say is I would not have made that blunder if I'd had a director.

My brothers favourite book. Good reading NJ.

@ Spacemonkey: It's one of my all-time favorites, too. And any time I wonder if it's really as good as I remember, I thumb through it again and think, yup, this was golden.
