Brilliant!!! TY Lima. Ooo I'm green with envy. 

When my father was dying, one on my son's teachers told him, "What's really sad is that your grandfather will go to hell because he is a scientist." Appalling woman, great teacher... but what a bitch. Yet, I'm not unhappy she said it because it was the catalyst for many discussions in the family about science, faith, various religions and how different people view and have shaped this world. And no... I never complained to the school. I encouraged my son to learn to pick his battles and feel pity for his teacher's ignorance and cruelty.

Science and faith are not mutually exclusive; I have only to look to my parents to understand this. 

I don't want ~anyone~ atheist or religious to tell me what I should believe or how I should conduct myself in my private affairs. I see a lot of condescension from both sides. If I wish to worship the little green men in Saturn's rings I will continue do so. *wink*
