I love it! It's Beautiful M! Those stitches remind me of growing up...

Yes I have seen those computer machines, I knew somebody that had one that would do embroidery initials/designs on clothes, jackets, towels, etc..

I guess in truth it's all about the way a person thinks, some people like the memories of yesterday and others like the desires of tomorrow.

I love the randomness and imperfections of hand quilting.

It seemed that my aunt Joan always had a quilt going when I was little. Everyone was always welcomed to add a line. Good memories... and some funny ones too of my uncles joining in... She never removed a stitch once it found its way onto the quit...

AAAAahhhh,..when I watched your last vid I thought you were taking it to your friend to have it machine quilted. I'll admit now that it gave me pause as I would have pegged you as a quilt purist.
The world is right side up again.
It's just wonderful.

I knew that commercially made quilts were machine made from beginning to end, but I didn't even know that machine quilting was practical for home quilters and artists. I've learned something new in each of your installments, Tree. The red sashiko thread and chevron pattern are perfect.
