I have such a desire to make quilts now.

Enjoyed watching much with the piano playing in the background.

So many memories in a quilt.

This is the most exciting part for me, when you have all the pieces sewn and you can see the big picture at last and it's even cooler than you'd imagined it. Such love and life in that sandwich.
,..and the ever humble, soon to be hidden forever batting takes her last look at the light before dutifully hiding between her showy sisters, to serve her purpose as warmer, unnoticed and unacknowledged by the warmees, for years to come. I just love how you treat each piece with reverence.

That's a wonderful fabric you've chosen for the backing. It'll make both sides of the quilt equally beautiful.
