Blow It All Away

A Song which has Haunted me since the end of 2012.
Technical tools: Adobe After Effects, Vegas for linear edit and vocals by ThatGirl recorded in Audacity

A stylistic theme song which screamed Bond Film Soundtrack caught my attention and imagination and I knew i had to record it.
The Video concept morphed from an old saloon setting with a dark muted color palette to this guns and roses final concept.

This one took since January to finish and the ride was an emotional one, fighting life events, getting my voice back and learning enough so I could finally put it together.

I only make things I Really want to...so there it is

@JUAN - Thanks for watching AND listening. This was a tough nut ...to say the least. Thank again and again for the encouragement and your time.

@LtAdams-I believe that IS THE Highest compliment, indeed.

Man, I built so many comps that got scrapped; motion tracking wasn't satisfactory even re-keying frame-by-frame, I built and scrapped several camera rigs, and I DID build that chessboard in 3D, so pretty, but my 8GB CPU can't support the 3d render-SO it's in my "3D desktop sculpture library". I could study AE for years and never master it. Dunno if it's my small brain or substandard processor and vidcard but I will not stop pushing the limits; I think you know that about me.....I wanna record a sexy-happy song again now. This one nearly ended me.

@BLANCHIE - you KNOW these types of journeys. I got my song on and my AE bib and diaper...*OMG, It's like getting locked in a room with hungry tigers and feeling like giving up, working with AE on a PC with only 8GB and a crap videocard.....runs off to corner sucking thumb and rocking.

@Steve - now THAT is a beautiful response and a compliment I will frame for my memory box. Thank you for WAITING with me and watching when i finally was able to finish. it's been TOO long since I could dedicate the effort and have the time and tools to do it. You've been on this ride the whole time with me.

@Syd....of course you can. I think this one has something in it everyone can identify with. It's too bad I couldn't get ALL my visuals into video form but I learned SO much. My notes are all over the place and I'm not losing them. Aiming higher than my tools can achieve is a lesson I took from my grandpa which has NEVER let me down in life. Thanks, Syd
