Yes, I've not been online much except for school stuff. I have a new gig this Fall but there's been a string of conferences and trainings I've had to attend this past month and now I've got a month to build my program alongside my new partner. It's all very exciting but a bit stressful, too. So much to do, so little time, blah blah blah.

I keep reminding myself to check in and make a video- it's been forever, but this place has been pretty darn slow-moving, so I just assumed everyone else is as busy (although hopefully not so much with work, lol).

I'm good....busy as usual, of course. Both boys this summer, plus my nephew who lives with us during the summer to work for David. Three teenage boys...yay :-) Lots of good trips, though, as usual. My passion.

I produced a successful (small) benefit for my friend who is having both kidneys removed tomorrow...her husband will be the donor in a separate procedure in July. I'm co-producing a benefit in July which will be headlined by the Bangles. Talk about learning curve! I have a whole new respect for producers!

I miss making videos and watching them. It's not that I don't have footage--I have MILES. Don't really know what's stopping me!

You're not teaching in the fall, Syd?

The Bangles? Very cool. I totally dig the Bangles except the lead singer shifts her eyes back and forth, never looking straight ahead when she sings...bugs the shit out of me. Look for it Ruth, you're gonna laugh when you see what I mean. Even in her videos she shifted the eyes....ggggggrrrrrrr...hate it.

I've been keeping plenty busy myself. Work, volunteer stuff...etc. Not to worry, I always make time to hang with my friends. I regularly meet with one or a group of friends and eat a meal, talk some smack, and laugh at ourselves. Keeps life spicy.
Not 3 teenagers in the house spicy, but spicy non-the-less. ;0)
Plus, I got NatureJunkie on speed dial......

FYI, if you volunteer for my event, that gets you in :-) It's not that long of a drive, is it?! Stay over a Wednesday and you get Spaghetti Night to boot!!

As for that Bangle, I always thought her eye-shifting was sexy, but to each his/her own.

Comment by JustDee on July 8, 2010 at 2:31am: I have been insanely busy this summer. It all started back at the end of June when I went to NM to visit my mom and sister. We had a great time. Then the second week, our older brother joined us and the last weekend that we were there, our nephew came to stay to. It is the first time in forever since we have all been together.

From there, I went straight to Louisiana. I was supposed to stay for the summer to help my daughter with my step grandson and my granddaughter (he is almost 6 and she is 11 months old). But stuff happened and I wound up coming home (but I brought the baby with me for a nice long visit). One of the things that happened is that I found out just before I left that my 20 year old is pregnant. She has epilepsy so I was very concerned that I would not be here for the first 2 months of her pregnancy.
So I have been taking care of my granddaughter, trying to work ( I work from home) and dragging my daughter to drs appointments.
@Ruth, that is awesome that you are did that for your friend and that you are doing it again.
@Syd, are you finding anytime for yourself ?
@Photo, how are you holding up? I meant to check on you sooner, but life got in the way.
