Hydrangea Happiness and Hello's

For those that don't get to see my PAD (picture a day) I do on Facebook, I thought I would share my mother's Hydrangeas that are in full bloom right now.  Not trying to do one of those drive by shooting things.  Hope all is well with everyone. I took a new position with a Naval base.  Been working ten hour shifts and some classes, plus Guard reserves part time, so I really don't even have time for me.  I do however, still have time for photography! :D

That's gorgeous. I had no idea hydrangeas came in such colors. I'm glad you make the time to peek in here once in while considering all that is going on with you.

In the spring I had done some weeding and clipping. I accidentally trimmed back the blue hydrangeas, because they looked like dead sticks...  so we didn't get any blooms this year. :(

Guess what I'm not doing next Spring :P

Thank you Nature, yes, pinks purples blues, there are many all over the yard at my dads that were my mom's favorites, I remember she would pour coloring into the soil to have them come out darker.   These that I took a picture of were new blooms that started light green opened to whitish pink and started pulling color in, so I got them at the mid stage before going bluish purple.  :)

Oh Scott! I am so sorry! yes, keep the dead sticks!  hopefully next year you will get more than enough to make up for this year.

Thank You Syd & Chig!  :)  I am thinking of making a video of some of my photos, but it would be more of like a slide show, and almost primitive in comparison to how people do videos today, resulting in boredom I am sure.

I don't think it would be boring at all.  Sneak in some subliminal slides of TP, Squirrels, Nutella, Balloon Boobs and guns.   You will have everyone hooked here.
