Have you ever asked a woman when she was "due" and she wasn't even pregnant?

Sort of. My housekeeper is stick thin, but had an obviously growing tummy. I did ask her if she was having another baby. She wasn't. I learned a very embarrassing lesson. However, I will say that I would never ask a larger woman that question. This girl is otherwise skinny, though, and I was actually quite shocked when she said no!

I was just telling someone the other day that I can't even believe, having heard so many times the embarrassment of that kind of thing- on both ends, that people even ask these days unless it's incredibly obvious, in which case one need not inquire.

I wont even bring it up if she is in labor. lol
My thought is, that I don't need to know unless she brings it up.
