Comment by ThatGirl on April 4, 2015 at 5:57pm: @NatureJunkie - I agreed to do this alternate version when SaBo-FX contacted me wishing to re-compose the track. I met him where he wanted to take this and put most of the effort into making it pretty, instead of carrying heavy messages.

I guess it's more 'mainstream", and I'm glad I took this opportunity to be able to approach the same song from two different angles.

I'm glad you listened and enjoyed this alternate version. Thanks for taking the time.

Comment by ThatGirl on April 6, 2015 at 2:32pm: @Blanchie - THank you so much for understanding the effort that goes into just making something pretty. Srsly, Amy, I've been teaching myself After Effects for a few years now (yikes). It's like a bad relationship.

First, it's like learning a new language with no similarities to your own, just to comprehend the workspace and commands which resemble nothing else. Like after you had to learn Apple-speak-and motions, now you have to learn Adobe. Once you get the language down, you can stumble over yourself for 2 years following instructions from tutors, yet still not fully comprehending the process. Finally, you do something and realize how you ACTUALLY arrived at the end result. You think you "get it, maybe" Then you carefully try to do things and not blow something up. I'm still right there, taking hours to do what some Adobe masters do in a few minutes.

First time I watched an Andrew Kramer tutorial and was able to almost keep up in real-time was with this project. sad but true!!

Then when you THINK you "get this Adobe thing', you use their whole suite, but suddenly EVERYTHING changes with CC version, and you cant even make a banner in PhotoshopCC , #truestory

*or maybe I'm just dumb and slow.
