Whatever floats your boat...
Wanna Go Out There? from NatureJunkie on Vimeo.
Creating a bucket list for my dog. One of the pleasantly unexpected repercussions of Buddy's illness is that I get myself out in nature more often than before his diagnosis. For his benefit, of course. But since I'm along for the ride, I benefit too.

Buddy's so beautiful.
NJ, you live in San Fran?
Syd, no, but close enough. The East Bay. This beach is just north of the Golden Gate Bridge, and about a 40 minute drive from my house.
Buddy says thanks for the compliment. He has had days of looking better, but he hates being brushed. So part of his being spoiled rotten these days is I skip the brushing.
All the coolest rock stars don't bother with brushing their hair so Buddy's in good company.
He's so fortunate to have you as a companion.
Thanks for the kind words, Steven. I do adore this dog.
NJ, that is one very fortunate dog. I can see you are packing love in every precious moment. I will just say that thing I said to Kirby every day of his life first thing in the morning, except that last one, as I could not bring myself to say it that day..... "every day is a precious wonderful gift."
Chig, I go through a similar ritual with Buddy. I wake up and say, "Seeing your sweet, kind face is my favorite part of the day." Whatever is ahead of me, it makes the day worth getting up for. And you are right, it is a precious wonderful gift.
I'll always be honored that Buddy tolerated my pets. What a sweet, sweet boy.
Blanche, as I remember it, Buddy looked at the window for days afterwards, asking me with his eyes, "When are they going to come back?"
