I'll have to wait and see how you pull off sewing the non-straight pieces together. I can't visualize in my mind how that will work without making lumpy places where the fabrics meet. This will be interesting, and once I see how you do it, maybe it'll end some of the frustration I feel when I can't get lines exactly straight.

Creative brick walls, in my experience, required a step back, a diversion, or some other creative folks' feedback before returning. 

 

I definitely think the composition's more interesting with a narrower border.  The
"weave" tends to overwhelm the rest of the piece, although it also serves as a contrast, adding to the energy. 

 

I love how the lines suggest a dynamic landscape.
