Old Truck Made New

First off...Starbuck looks exactly like my cat archibald, except of course archi has his full tail, and secondly.....You rock sista.....Truck is like new.....amazing what a little elbow grease and paint can do ;0)

Starbuck is a cross between a domestic cat and a wild bobcat. She is special. This old truck used to be my farm truck. Originally purchased over 16 years ago for my Ex-Husband's lawn service business. When we got divorced, I bought him a new truck (guilt) and took the old one to my new home and basically only used it for pulling stumps and moving rocks and cages around the yard. I own a title insurance company (real estate related business) and when the market crashed, so did my income. So, now I'm forced to drive this old thing and be humble about it. It has no muffler so it sounds like a hot rod going down the road and it looked like crap - this is fine if your Gretchen Wilson or Hank Williams, Jr. but I have to meet with clients who are so wealthy, they don't even know the US in in a recession!

Now that you mention it - I should have! This was just a quick fix - I was going down the road last week and the right front tire literally blew up - I had to get all new tires they were rotten. So, now, their is an oil leak (front main seal) which I've been told will cost $350 and there are literally no mufflers - one of the special needs helpers at our local grocery store told me yesterday "you better not break the law or speed or anything - that thing is loud and the police are going to get you" he was so serious. It was pretty funny, but with my luck - just a foreshadowing of something to come :-) Have a great day.
