Okay, so my squirrel isn't as pretty as BlancheNoE's. She's got a good personality, though.

AWWwww. She's every bit as pretty as our Bean. He's brand new this year which is why he doesn't have many battle scars yet, though shortly after filming this his mom was hit and killed by a car. Now the under side of his tail is bare from just two days of nervous posturing. Sh*t. Who needs Disney, eh ?
@ Ruth. Yes. It's true. It's not our effervescent personalities that draw them. It's the nuts. Where's Chig when you need a good nut joke?
@ Blanche: Cars. *sigh* I lost a squirrel last year to a car. I found his little body in the street as I rounded the corner by my house one day. I have no idea what the life expectancy of urban squirrels is, but I've never been able to keep tabs on any particular one for more than a few months.
The squirrels in my yard have not been friendly to me. They'll gather nuts I leave on the fence for them but run for high cover when I'm in my yard. This one is different, though. The first time we looked into each others' eyes through my kitchen window, I just knew we trusted each other.
I love watching squirrels, but chipmunks have to be my favorite. They get so hysterical about ~everything.
Yeah, you joined in!
@ Spacemonkey: People tell me all the time how I look "great... really great..."
Just paying it forward.
That squirrel is raggedy looking - reminds me of the squirrel version of Wheaties - I said it. NO - I aint taking it back. :0)
