Hey Jim, I noticed at second 00:27, Malika's got some kind of attachment on the fence for cat-scratching. That's a great idea--my own cats are gouging my fence posts down to toothpicks. What is that you use?

Thanks, ladies! Yes, Malika has Bengal and Egyptian Mau in her lineage, which goes back to an African Serval. Her lookalike pal Sheba is a Bengal with Egyptian Mau in her lineage, descended from an Asian Leopard cat.

We inherited a couple of those scratching pads. They look home-made, just a board with rope wound around it. They can hang by a loop of rope on top, or be nailed to a post, like we did.

Thanks, Jim! I think I could jury rig a few fence protectors like that. I should have thought of it before. Malika and Sheba are both stunning beauties.
