Whatever floats your boat...
Pyper came to visit me in August for a long weekend. It gave Hardy the chance to get used to someone over several days. This was the first (and only) time he felt comfortable sitting with me in the living room. I credit Pyper with breaking the ice.

*big huge stupid happy grin* Hardy trusts you! Awesome! OMG woman... Pyper didn't break the ice! He's trusting your judgement about Pyper! Also, he's relaxed enough to explore his curiosity about Pyper, but only by staying at your protective side. Whoot!
@ Ruth: About Pyper not appearing on camera, I AGREE! But what could I do? As she is constantly pointing out to me, I'm not the boss of her.
@ Marie: It was kind of a big thing to have him come out of his hidey place that weekend with another person in the house. It must be a weird thing for him to look to me for guidance about how much to trust strangers when he doesn't even trust me wholly.
I remember that moment with Hardy - he definately trusts you - if I remember he kept pushing your hand with his nose to get some more loving.
As for not being on camera, I didn't want to take away from Hardy adorability by flooding the lens with mine :0) and cause NJ's not the boss of me!!!
Great visit, except for when I threw my empty chip bag in the trash and you quickly pulled it out and distributed the minisule amount of remaining chip dust in a compost pile, pulled the sticky "on sale" sticker off and put it in a special colored bucket, then took the remaining bag and cut it into non-lethal strips so as not to choke a dolphin should it end up in the ocean?
Needless to say, I'm still not sure what goes in the actual trash can at NJ house :0)
Geez, Pyper...! I'm still sitting here laffin' my ass off at the trash can paragraph. You'd best be IN the next video your voice is. Consider ME the boss of you :-)
@ ThatGirl: That was a good day, an unusual state of relaxation for him. But we're still getting there, slowly but surely.
@ Blanche: So you were miffed by your false expectations? Not nearly as miffed, I bet, as Hardy was when Pyper did not make good on all her "hunk o' cheese" talk.
